Engraved + cut (the default): one board, the map engraved and the whole board cut into pieces right to its edge. No frame: the outline is the outer cut, so every piece comes free and the edge pieces have straight sides. Layered (HARD): a real puzzle in two layers. The base is cut by the jigsaw, and the raised main roads are cut by the SAME jigsaw, joined to a thin rim round each piece. So every piece is two layers: glue piece 7's top onto piece 7's base and they line up exactly. The pieces are numbered on the base, under the rim, so the numbers are hidden once glued. UV print + cut: the board printed in full colour, then cut into pieces right to the edge. Looks like a puzzle: a whole map to hang, not a puzzle. The jigsaw lines are only scored on top and the roads engraved; nothing comes apart. The only way that starts with a frame.
