• How does costing work?

  Put a price on your material — per sheet, or per metre for a roll — and every run reports what it consumed, the waste percentage, what the material cost and what the wasted portion was worth. Job history keeps that record so you can see where material is going over time.

• What does it cost?

  $4 a month or $40 a year. It is also included with FoundryPass at no extra cost, along with every other Maker Foundry app.

• What do I get with Pro?

  Multi-sheet nesting, material costing and waste reporting, projects saved to your account, job history, and keeping offcuts as reusable material. The nesting engine itself is identical — Pro never makes a better nest, it handles more of the job around it.

• What happens to my saved projects if I cancel?

  You keep them and can still open, download and delete them. Only saving new ones stops. Your work is yours regardless of what your membership says today.

• What is multi-sheet?

  When a job is too big for one sheet, NestSmith fills the first, then nests whatever is left onto a second, and keeps going until everything is placed. Each sheet is packed as a fresh problem, so none of them are padded out. You page between them under the canvas.
