How do I make a 2 Pieces to the Puzzle map?

  1. In the Layers panel, set Product to "2 Pieces to the Puzzle". A board appears straight away, every piece showing where the map is, in the 2D and 3D views, and its card opens under the product.
  2. Places: pick 2, 3 or 4 pieces (four can sit two by two), then search a place for each (where you met and where you live, two hometowns).
  3. Frame each piece on the map: the map on the left shows the piece being framed as its jigsaw outline over the real map. Drag the map to move the place in the piece, scroll to zoom, right-drag (two fingers on a phone) or the 15° buttons to turn it. The tabs under the map, a piece's "Frame on map" button or a click on the piece in the 2D view choose which piece you frame. Every piece has its own scale. The Shows and Turn sliders do the same from the card.
  4. Pieces: how it is built (Layered, One board or Separate pieces), the puzzle frames (nested, one round them, or none), the outer frame on or off, and the knobs.
  5. Look: the frame and board woods, raised or engraved roads, the water and the sheet thickness.
  6. Words: the names above, each piece's place name, the saying below and an optional date, each with its own font, size and letter spacing.
  7. Size: a preset or your own width and height, the outer frame's width, the space round the pieces and the corners.

Every change shows on the board as you make it; there is no button to press. Every word is also ordinary studio text you can drag, retype or delete. Framing a piece leaves your text as it is; a change in the Words tab sets the words afresh. This product is in Beta.
