Are streets shown for islands outside the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand?

Yes. Our own map covers the US, Canada, the UK & Ireland, Australia and New Zealand; in other countries the builder fetches the streets from OpenStreetMap along with the beaches; on a big island only the main roads, so the board does not turn grey. Buildings show where our map data has them, which is most towns in those countries.
